Fátima gets to work during the harvesting season of the sugar cane, and that only lasts for about 7 months a year, in the mean time she sells fruits or if she gets called, he does different type of jobs like cutting grass or prepare the land to harvest vegetables. She is a single mom of an 8 year old boy (he was at school at the moment of the interview).
At her current place, when it rains they get lots of water inside of the house because of the wind too. She build her house 8 years ago, before that, she was living with her mother and her family. “We feel grateful to God because he has allowed for all of this to happen”
