Karla runs a small store, starting her day in the morning and finishing by 3:00 PM. She sells snacks, natural juices, and other food items, either along the highway or door-to-door. In addition to her store, Karla enjoys sewing to earn extra income and unwind. When she’s not selling or sewing, she also cleans houses.
She will live in her new home with her two children, Mateo (10 years old) and Valeria (14 years old). Both are currently in school, with Mateo in 4th grade and Valeria in 8th grade.
"When I received the news about getting a house, I felt very happy. I have lived in many different places, but that is not happening again. Our old house was in bad condition."
