Step 1
To become a Shelter Team Leader you need the following requirements:
You have travelled to El Salvador on at least one prior Shelter trip
You agree with Shelter’s Mission, Vision and Statement of Faith
You are willing to submit to a Vulnerable Sector Check
You are ready to learn and grow as you serve Shelter (and have a lot of fun in the process!)
Step 2
Click on the button below to fill out your application to be a Shelter Team Leader. Once submitted, we will review your responses and contact you.
Step 3
By clicking the button you will access the schedule of team weeks available for 2025. Use the approximate number of team members that you plan to travel with as a guide to determine the week that will work best for your team. Then email us at carie.mcalliste@shelterhelps com to schedule your team.
