Karla wakes up early in the morning to prepare breakfast for her family before her husband goes to work. Afterward, she does household chores and watches TV. She used to live in the Palo Blanco community, but in 2022, they were evicted from that house and returned to her mother’s home. She and her husband built their current house in September 2022. They live there with their son.

Anthony enjoys hanging out with his cousin, and when she is not home, he likes to play around the house and watch TV.

“In the house I have now, when it rains, the water gets inside, and when it’s windy, the house shakes and feels like it could collapse. I believe that with the new house, everything will be different.”
