It was back in 2006 when Sunwest had the welcome opportunity to join another team of men from Airdrie to build homes in the tiny country of El Salvador…thankfully, all these years later, we continue to send people from outside our church, from parts unknown to gather together as one, to serve alongside the beautiful people of El Salvador. We always wondered what it might look like to invite people from other churches, from businesses, extended family and distant friends to come together a week each year, as total strangers, and see what opportunities God would have for us in the common pursuit of building a home for someone in need. I can say it has brought a richness and depth to the work that can often be indescribable!
