Justa Armida Amador Pleitez

52 years old / Homemaker

Justa lives with her daughter, and they start their day by doing household chores. However, they face significant challenges: their house has no running water, so they collect rainwater and sometimes buy water in bags. Justa also struggles with diabetes, which has led to the amputation of some of her toes, and she suffers from anemia as well. Despite these hardships, they remain grateful to God for keeping them safe through all their difficulties.

Fernanda Julissa Amador

21 years old / Employee / Justa’s Daughter

She works making pupusas and helps to provide for her family.

Their home, made of mud, is in poor condition, with cracks all around. When it rains heavily, water seeps in, and strong winds can lift the roof, leaving them exposed during storms.

"I felt very happy when I learned that I would receive a reliable home for my daughter and me. Unfortunately, when they visited me for the first time, I was hospitalized and couldn't meet with the foundation representatives. But thank God everything worked out in our favor, and I don’t have enough words to express what I feel. I am very grateful for the help you are going to provide us, and I hope you receive many blessings in return."
