Hernán grows corn, beans, when he can. Due to his old age and health issues, he is no longer able to work as he did before. His wife passed away five years ago, and his nieces visit and take care of him.
His house was built 27 years ago. Since he lives alone and the house is in poor condition, he fears that it may collapse during an earthquake. However, he now gives thanks to God for his new home, where he will be able to sleep peacefully.
